
Wani expresses gratitude to all
A large number Journalists visited the house of seniorJournalist and Editor-in-Chief Daily Brighter Kashmir and expressed grief over the demise of this father in Charar-e-Sharif area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Abdul Rahim Wani (90) passed away a couple of days ago after a brief illness.
Senior Journalists including CNSEditor-in-Chief Rasheed Rahi, staff from Tameel-e-Irshad headed by Akash Aminand Raja Mohiuddin, Feroz Ali visited Wani’s house and prayed for the departed soul. They prayed to Allah to grant the best place to the deceased in Jannah and give courage to the bereaving family especially Farooq Wani to bear the shock.
Jammu Kashmir Editors Forum held a condolence meeting under its Convener Zahoor Hashmi. The meeting was attendedby Arshid Rasool, Rashid Rahil, Muhammad Shafi, Nisar Peerzada and others.
During the meeting rich tributes were paid to departed soul Abdul Rahim Wani.
The death of father-in-law of formerDirector Information Khawaja Farooq Renzu was also condoled in the meeting.
On the directions of Zahoor Hashmi, theteam visited the house of Farooq Wani and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family.
