Vice Chairperson of J&K Khadi & Village Industries Board, Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat today said that the Board is playing a crucial role in generating employment in Jammu and Kashmir.

She said that J&K KVIB has facilitated self-employment to 9000 persons in District Pulwama under PMEGP and JKREGP schemes.
Dr Hina has said that J&K KVIB will be able to touch the figure of generating employment to 15000 persons of District Pulwama by March 2021.
She further added that the J&K KVIB is playing an important role in the up-gradation of the Rural Economy especially in far flung areas of all the Districts of J&K UT.
