
Several areas of Jammu and Kashmir are on high alert after intelligence agencies warned of attacks by terror outfits on security forces. The warning comes as three terror attacks happened in the Jammu region in a span of three days.
The intelligence agencies have warned of plans by terror outfits to launch fidayeen (suicide) attack on security forces camps, installations, and asked to exercise maximum alert in the areas, sources said.
On Tuesday, Doda and Kathua were struck by two separate terror attacks, resulting in death of two militants, CRPF jawan and injuries to six security personnel and a civilian.
Meanwhile, reports said movement of two militants has been noticed in a village in Nowshera in border district Rajouri.
Army and Police also launched a search operation in the villages close to the Line of Control on the inputs of suspicious movement.
On Sunday, terrorists fired upon a bus carrying pilgrims in Reasi district. The bus rolled down into a gorge following the attack in which nine pilgrims were killed and 43 others were injured in the attack.
