Sh Anand Jain, IPS, Additional Director General, Armed J&K along with Sh. Vinod Kumar, IPS, DIG IR Range Jammu & Sh. Sameer Sharma-IPS DIG AP Jammu felicitated players of the J&K Police Central Sports Teams in a felicitation function held at lawns of APHQ Jammu for their excellent performance and bringing laurels to J&K Police in different tournaments.

The event was attended by the players who have recently won multiple medals for their remarkable performance. Ct. Hans Raj secured 1st Position in 42.195 Km (Full Marathon) & Ct. Tahir Aziz stood 2nd runner up in 77 Km Ultra Marathon (Himachal Spiti Challenge) of Cross Country Team in Ladakh Marathon 12th Edition-2025 organized by Ladakh Hill Development Council on 14th September-2025
In Wrestling, Ct. Bania Min secured 1st position in (Rustam-E-Hind) title Wrestling Championship at Nawanshahr, Punjab on 17th, November-2025. In Athletics, Sgct. Danish Yousaf won (05) Gold Medals in National Master Games-2025 held at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh from 20-26,April-2025 & (03) Gold Medals in 23rd Asia Master Athletics Championship-2025 at Chennai, Tamil Nadu from 5th to 9th November-2025. Sgct. Jai Kumar won 01 Silver & 01 Bronze Medal in National Master Championship.
During the said felicitation ceremony, ADG Armed J&K congratulated all the medal winners of J&K Police Central Sports Teams and their coaches for their achievements . Besides the medal-winning players were honoured with mementos/ certificates (as applicable) in recognition of their remarkable achievements.
