Srinagar, May 5: Jammu and Kashmir is expected to experience hot and dry weather conditions from May 6 to 10, with a significant rise in day temperatures across the Union Territory.

Meteorological updates indicate that Srinagar may witness maximum temperatures reaching 28–30°C, particularly between May 8 and 10, marking a notable increase compared to recent days.
Officials said overall weather will remain largely stable with no significant precipitation activity expected during this period. Only isolated and very light showers may occur over higher reaches, without impacting plains.
The dry spell is likely to result in warmer daytime conditions across both Jammu and Kashmir divisions, with clear skies dominating most regions.
Authorities have advised people to stay hydrated and take precautions during peak afternoon hours as temperatures are set to rise steadily in the coming days.
