
The Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organisation (JKTPO), in furtherance to its efforts to promote ODOP (One District One Product) and enhance the export potential of same, today organized a workshop for the stakeholders here in the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner’s office.
Deputy Commissioner, Harvinder Singh, along with JKTPO representatives Jeeten Kumar, Suchant Sharma, CPO Doda, Manish Sharma, CAO, Anil Gupta, other officers and farmers attended the program.
The event was part of the National Programme for Organic Production (NPOP), aimed at obtaining organic certification for Rajmah and lavender, the key ODOP products of the Doda district.
The JKTPO, under the guidance of Commissioner Secretary, Industries and Commerce department, and following the directions of Chief Secretary of J&K, is actively working to build capacity, generate awareness about various interventions, and create forward linkages to fetch better remuneration for farmers, entrepreneurs, and artisans.
