Joura Cricket Club (JCC) Doda registered victory over Friends Cricket Club (FCC) Thathri by 19 runs in the ongoing All India 15th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship played at Sports Stadium Doda.
The tournament is organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by J&K Bank Ltd, Zum Zum Sweets (Kud Wale), Mumtaz Building Material Doda, Hotel Doda Darbar, Green Model Hr Sec School Doda, Shaheen Pub Hr Sec School Doda, Chenab Valley Pub Hr Sec School Doda, Natnoo Furnishing House and with the active support of District Administration and District Police Doda.
Earlier batting first after winning the toss, FCC Doda set a magnificent total of 181 runs in alloted 20 overs game for the loss of 08 wickets. Sandeep Kumar top scored with 46 runs while Pardeep Mansh contributed 35 runs to the total. From the bowling side, Umar Ganai, Imran Latief and Adil Jan grabbed 02 wickets to each.
In reply while chasing the stipulated target, Friends Cricket Club (FCC) Thathri could not made it possible to chase the target as the team manage to score only 162 runs for the loss of 09 wickets in 20 overs, thus by lost the match by 19 runs. Umar Ganai played a fine knock of 100 runs from 62 balls while Adil Jan contributed 12 runs to the total. From bowling side, Pardeep Mansh bowled fine spell of 04 overs wherein he grabbed 04 wickets while Anjesh Singh took 02 wickets.
Later on, Pardeep Mansh of Joura Cricket Club Doda was declared as Man of the Match for his best all round performance who was given prize by District Health Officer Dr Tariq Masood along with Ashok Shan.
