Beerwah , May 9: A delegation of journalists led by Brighter Kashmir Editor Farooq Wani visited the residence of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Imtiyaz Hussain Mir at Sikandarpora, Beerwah in Budgam to offer condolences on the demise of his father, who passed away on Thursday.
The delegation included Editor Tameel Irshad Akash Amin and video journalist Tariq Lone of Aaj Tak, who joined in expressing solidarity with the bereaved family during this moment of grief.
A large number of people from different walks of life have been visiting the residence of the DIG to extend their sympathies and share condolences with the grieving family.
The visiting journalists offered prayers for the eternal peace of the departed soul and prayed for strength and patience to the family to bear the irreparable loss.
The atmosphere at the residence remained solemn as friends, colleagues, and well-wishers continued to arrive throughout the day to pay their respects.
