District Level competition in different arts was today held here at Government Higher Secondary School Sunderbani as part of Kala Utsav- an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) to promote arts in education by nurturing and showcasing the artistic talent of school students.
The students from different zones of the district participated in the competition held under the guidance of Chief Education officer, Gulzar Hussain.
The inaugural session was presided over by the District Cultural officer, Dr. Alamdar Shah, while Principal Boys Higher Secondary School Sunderbani and Zonal Education Officer Sunderbani were special guests.
The session was moderated by Geeta Bharti, DRG DIET Rajouri and Dr. Dushyant Pradeep aired the event live on various social media platforms of the Directorate of School Education Jammu.
The program was well planned and coordinated by Shehzad Mughal, District Cultural Coordinator; Rakesh Kumar Sharma (ZICC Lowerhathal); Vinod Kumar Sharma (ZICC Sunderbani); Neetu Sharma (ZICC Dandesar) and Varsha Sharma (Cultural Ambassador). Ajay Kumar Sharma, Rattan Parothia, Sanjay Gupta, Vijay Kumar and other staff members of Boys Higher secondary school were also present.
The Guest and judges for the session presented the certificates to the participants for the wonderful program.
