Kashmir Commemorate Dr Syama Prasad‘s birth anniversary

The birth anniversary of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee, a visionary nationalist and founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, was commemorated across multiple districts of Jammu & Kashmir—Ganderbal, Srinagar, Anantnag, and Kulgam—with great enthusiasm, patriotic fervor, and strong public participation.

Ganderbal

At Busserbugh, Ganderbal, the celebration witnessed participation from over 100 individuals, including 70 women and 30 men, alongside a significant presence of youth leaders and local residents.
Prominent figures in attendance included Sarpanch Mohammad Sadiq Mir, political leader and social activist Shahnaza Akhter, Manzoor Ahmad, Deputy Director Pradeep Kumar, youth leader Inam Zubair, Nazakat, Muskan, and others who actively contributed to the program.
The event featured motivational speeches, open public interaction, and a workshop session where Deputy Director Pradeep Kumar engaged directly with the public. He addressed concerns, encouraged youth participation, and emphasized the role of the community in building a united and developed India.

Srinagar

In Srinagar, a parallel celebration saw around 130 participants, including 100 women and 30 men. The gathering was marked by enthusiasm and active youth involvement. Mohammad Yaseen, Dy Director My bharat Pradeep Kumar were also present Dy Director addressed the audience, highlighting the significance of Dr. Mukherjee’s sacrifice and ideals in the context of Jammu & Kashmir. The Srinagar event was also notable for its strong representation of women and youth, underlining the region’s growing civic participation.

Anantnag and Kulgam

Under the banner of Mera Yuva Bharat (My Bharat), a series of commemorative events were held in Anantnag and Kulgam.
In Bijbehara, Anantnag, youth took part in a plantation drive, essay competition, quiz, and seminar dedicated to Dr. Mookerjee’s legacy. Mr. Aijaz Ahmad, Principal of Oxford Presentation School, was the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized how Dr. Mukherjee’s ideals continue to guide India’s vision of unity and strength.
In Yaripora, Kulgam, MY Bharat volunteers organized a quiz competition, seminar, and plantation drive. The event was graced by Mr. Jahangeer Ahmad, a noted social activist, who spoke about Dr. Mukherjee’s unwavering dedication to national unity and selfless service.
These multifaceted programs across districts served as a powerful tribute to Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee’s enduring legacy. Citizens, especially the youth, pledged to follow his ideals of patriotism, national unity, and community service, strengthening the collective resolve to build a progressive and united India.
