Kashmir Football Academy, affiliated with the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association, is committed to building a healthier and more positive society through the medium of sports. The academy is taking a proactive approach to address the alarming rise in substance abuse and mobile addiction among children aged 4 to 12 years.
As part of this initiative, the academy aims to travel across various districts, organizing football matches while simultaneously raising awareness about the importance of sports in protecting young minds from the dangers of drugs and other harmful activities. The core objective is to use football as a tool to promote discipline, fitness, and mental well-being among the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
This campaign is strongly supported by the Divisional Officer (C) of the J&K Sports Council and the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association. Their continued encouragement has been instrumental in driving this movement forward at the grassroots level, impacting both boys and girls alike.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Nuzhat Gul, Secretary of the J&K Sports Council, for her exceptional support. Her unwavering belief in the academy’s vision has given strength to this mission. Coach Waseem Javaid Lone, who has been dedicatedly training young players for over 10 years, also extends his deep thanks to Ms. Gul. He believes that with continued support like this, the menace of drug involvement can truly be eradicated from the region.
Coach Waseem Lone is known for his relentless dedication and hard work. His passion for nurturing young talent and building a better future through football stands as a pillar of the academy’s success.
Under the inspiring banner “My Youth, My Pride / Nasha Mukt Srinagar City,” Kashmir Football Academy remains committed to shaping a drug-free and vibrant future for the children of Jammu and Kashmir.
