In a recent crackdown on electricity theft, the Divisional Inspection Squad of the Electric Division I, Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Circle I, Srinagar, conducted comprehensive inspections in the Padshahi Bagh area. During the inspections, the team unearthed numerous instances of electricity theft, alarming officials. Individuals caught stealing electricity were swiftly identified, and legal action was taken against them. Furthermore, as a deterrent measure, power disconnections were initiated for those found guilty of stealing electricity. This action serves not only as punishment but also as a warning to others contemplating similar unlawful acts.
