Srinagar, Sep 28: The Khyber Cement Kashmir Super League 2026 (KSL-26) concluded with the organisers expressing gratitude to the football fraternity and everyone whose support helped make the tournament a memorable chapter for the sport in Kashmir.

The organisers said KSL-26 was more than a football tournament, describing it as a collective journey built through the support of franchises, sponsors, media partners, players, officials, departments, volunteers, supporters and football enthusiasts.
“We gave our best, our time, our energy and our hearts to make KSL-26 a tournament that Kashmir could be proud of. Every player on the field, every cheer from the stands and every supporter who stood with us made the journey worthwhile,” the organisers said.
A special appreciation was extended to the Police Department, particularly Kothi Bagh Police Station, for its support and cooperation throughout the tournament.
The organisers also acknowledged the media fraternity for its extensive coverage, which helped take the KSL-26 story to football followers across Kashmir and beyond.
They also recognised the contribution of volunteers, ground staff, operations and production teams, technical personnel and other support staff who worked behind the scenes to ensure the smooth conduct of the league.
“We may have organised a league, but you all helped turn it into a movement,” the organisers said.
Expressing gratitude to the people of Kashmir for their support, the organisers said the conclusion of KSL-26 marked not an end but another step towards strengthening football in the region.
“Thank you, Kashmir, for believing in KSL. Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for making KSL-26 unforgettable. This is only the beginning. Together, we will continue building football in Kashmir,” they said.
