
To address the rising prevalence of respiratory illnesses such as asthma, bronchitis, and allergies, the Health Centre, University of Kashmir (KU) in collaboration with the Government Chest Diseases Hospital, Srinagar, organized a free medical camp focusing on respiratory health for the campus community.
During the camp patients received comprehensive evaluations from a team of esteemed specialists from Government Chest Diseases Hospital, ensuring thorough and satisfactory consultations.
While observing the camp's operations, Vice Chancellor KU Prof Nilofer Khan expressed strong approval of its professional execution and the dedication demonstrated by the medical personnel.
Reiterating varsity`s commitment to promoting health and wellness on campus she said “The University tries its best to address the health needs of its community and such medical camps are vital for ensuring the well-being of our students and staff."
Prof. (Dr.) Naveed Nazir, Head, Government Chest Diseases Hospital alongwith his team including Dr Arshad Ahmad and Dr. Shahid provided specialized diagnostic expertise, particularly for chronic respiratory conditions.
Registrar KU, Prof. Naseer Iqbal, congratulated the Health Centre for successfully organizing the event and acknowledged the efforts of the medical team in delivering essential healthcare services.
