Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan today felicitated the champion team of the divisional level Kabaddi competition held recently at Pulwama.
The tournament witnessed participation from all 10 districts across the Kashmir division, during which team Kulgam emerged victorious, lifting the championship title.
Upon their return, DC congratulated and felicitated all the players of the winning team, appreciating their remarkable performance and dedication.
He also appreciated the team Coach Sameer Sheikh, and Team Manager, Bashir Ahmad Palla, for their leadership and guidance.
Besides these, U/17 Girls base ball Team of Kulgam and their Coach Asif Ahmad were also felicitated for their outstanding achievement in the same divisional-level competition which was held days back at Ganderbal
While concluding the felicitation ceremony,DC commended the efforts of the District Youth Services and Sports department, Kulgam, for nurturing young sporting talent and promoting physical fitness among the youth of the district.
