J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB) Samba organized an awareness programme at Village Chachwal in Block Rajpura.
DDC Rajpura Asha Rani inaugurated the camp in presence of Chairman BDC Rajpura Radhe Sham.
A large number of general public, unemployed youth and senior citizens were present at the programme. At the outset, District officer KVIB Vinod Kumar welcomed the participants and briefed about the schemes being implemented by the Board. He motivated the unemployed youth to come forward to avail the benefits of Government Schemes.
In her address, DDC Rajpura appreciated the role of KVIB Samba in generating employment through the schemes of their department and requested Unemployed youth to avail benefits launched by JK UT Government as well as center govt. in the shape of subsidy to upgrade.
