Lt General Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GoC-in-C), Northern Command, along with Lt General Hitesh Bhalla, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Fire and Fury Corps, called on Kavinder Gupta at Leh today.

During the meeting, the senior Army Commanders apprised the Lieutenant Governor of the prevailing security situation in the region and discussed various matters related to operational preparedness, border management, and civil-military coordination in the Union Territory of Ladakh.The Lieutenant Governor appreciated the Indian Army’s unwavering commitment and dedication in safeguarding the nation’s borders under challenging climatic and terrain conditions. He lauded the efforts of the Northern Command and Fire and Fury Corps for maintaining peace and stability in the region and for their continued support to the civil administration.

The meeting reaffirmed the close coordination between the Armed Forces and the civil administration to ensure security, development, and overall well-being of the people of Ladakh.
