
Shahnaz Parveen, an International Taekwondo player from Ladakh and a State Awardee, has brought pride to the region by securing a bronze medal in the National Level Champions of Champions Taekwondo Tournament organized by India Taekwondo in Nashik, Maharashtra. Competing in the under-30 female Poomsae individual category, Shahnaz showcased exceptional skill and determination to claim the third position in the final match.
Nissar Hussain Balkhani, the founder of Taekwondo in Ladakh, congratulated Shahnaz on her outstanding achievement and expressed gratitude to Namdev Shirodkar, President of India Taekwondo, for granting her a wild card entry into the tournament. He also praised Master Atul Pangotra for his world-class training and support for Shahnaz at his academy along with other players from Ladakh.
In her statement, Shahnaz Parveen thanked President Shirodkar for the last-minute opportunity and assured her commitment to working even harder to earn a place in Team India. She also expressed her appreciation to her sponsor, M3M Foundation, and to TCI Max Company, which appointed her as their brand ambassador for Ladakh.
