
Langat Singh College celebrated the 79th anniversary of India's independence with traditional gaiety and enthusiasm. The festivities commenced with Principal Prof. Kanupriya paying solemn homage to the great leaders whose statues are installed on the college campus by paying floral tribute to them. Following the tribute, Prof. Kanupriya hoisted the national flag at the Dr. Rajendra Prasad Smriti Park, commemorating the momentous occasion.
In her address, she urged everyone to celebrate this festival with true faith in the nation during this "Amrit Kaal" of independence. She emphasized the importance of every individual fulfilling their duties and responsibilities, and contributing to the propagation of education and values in society. Prof. Kanupriya called upon everyone to pledge on this auspicious occasion to work together with renewed zeal and dedication to build a golden future for the coming generations and to cooperate in achieving the high academic goals of the college. She expressed her firm belief that through collective effort, the college would succeed in setting new standards of academic excellence.
Following the ceremony, NCC cadets captivated the audience with a vibrant cultural program in the auditorium. The NCC team also presented a parade and saluted the Principal. The event was attended by college teachers, staff, and a large number of students, including college NCC officer Lt. Dr. Rajeev Kumar, Prof. Sunil Mishra, Prof. Sunil Mishra, Prof. Rajeev Jha, Prof. Jaykant Singh, Prof. TK Dey, Prof. SR Chaturvedi, Prof. Shailendra Sinha, Dr. Sajida Anjum, Dr. Navin Kumar, Dr. Anand Kumar and others.
