
Tirupati, Jan 1: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday offered prayers at the revered Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
During his visit to the hill shrine, the Lieutenant Governor paid obeisance at the temple and sought blessings.
The Venkateswara Temple, located at Tirumala near Tirupati, is one of the most prominent pilgrimage centres in the country and attracts millions of devotees every year.
Officials said the visit was part of Sinha’s personal religious engagements during his stay in Andhra Pradesh.
Security and temple authorities facilitated the smooth conduct of the prayers.
