Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha today interacted with the youth from Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, who are on a five-day visit to Jammu under Border Area Youth Exchange Programme (BAYEP), under the aegis of NYKS-MY Bharat, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
During the interaction, the participating youth shared the experiences about their visit to the border areas of Jammu region.
Extending his best wishes for their future endeavours, the Lieutenant Governor called upon the youth to play active role in socio-economic progress and contribute towards realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat.
The Lieutenant Governor also reiterated the commitment of the government for Border Infrastructure development and welfare of the border area dwellers.
Sh Nisar Ahmad Bhat, Director, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) J&K and Ladakh, officials and volunteers of NYKS were also present on the occasion at Raj Bhawan.
