The wedding ceremony of a very beautiful girl was being celebrated with great enthusiasm. In the wedding hall, that very beautiful bride, that girl full of various aspirations, was sitting with her friends, having beautiful dreams of the future life in her eyes. That was when some of her friends started teasing her with love and whispering in her ear, 'Oh my dear! How beautiful you look today! This wonderful adornment, this gold necklace, this diamond ring and your charm that overcomes all these! Whoever sees you cannot close his eyes! May you be safe from every bad eye!'
Hearing these glorifying words from her best friends, the friends who loved her immensely, the bride suddenly started crying profusely. Friends grew worried about this sudden happening. They were confused so as to what has offended her so much so that she started crying! Praising her beauty couldn't possibly be the reason.
Then what was there to cry about? They were scared but somehow they managed to ask her the reason. The beautiful bride, that damsel replied with a heavy heart, 'When you were praising my beauty, I was very overwhelmed by your words, but suddenly a question arose in my mind like a cobra raising its head in offensive mode. 'Although as you said, my beauty is so captivating, but suppose if this same beauty of mine, this same charm of mine is not liked by the groom with whom I am being married off, then what? If my semi-God, my husband to be doesn't approve of me, won't my whole life go in vain? This very thought made me desperate and I was shocked by this spontaneity.'
'Now have a look at this instance, my dear friends! The same is the score of our life. In this very life, as a husband, we are married off to our wife and as a wife to our husband, but as a human being, our marriage is already solemnised to the Supreme God and this marriage does not need to be celebrated once or many times in life, but it is necessary to have the feeling of this bond and the knowledge of this relationship between the human being and God at every moment. No matter how much we decorate our life, how much we embellish our life, how much we increase our material 'glory', how great and how rich we become, how strong and brave we turn, if our conduct, our actions and our behavior is not at par with that of the directives of our God, not in accordance with his commandments, then it is not inappropriate and unjust to say that this entire life has gone in vain. Life is precious; live life; live it for yourself and let others live their lives smoothly in their own zone of convenience. Live every moment of this life happily but do not forget the truth that God who has given us this life as a gift, has attached a code of conduct to every human being just as is given a user manual to use with every machine. This code of conduct is like the directive principles set by God for man.
This code of conduct is the order of God; that is, Dos and Don'ts for man; Let's see some of the dos and don'ts in this user manual or code of conduct.
Dos: (Do this... i.e. instill virtues in the heart)
Love for each other, respect for each other, honor for each other, forgiveness, adoption of positivity, acceptance of this principle for the society along with such many more.
Donts:
(Do not do this.. i.e. protect yourself from these vices)
Hatred, feeling of destroying each other, negative mindset, jealousy, injustice, oppression, adoption of falsehood, envy, anger, caste or religious discrimination along with many other evils.
Instill in your life the virtues that please the Supreme God. After all, this is the basic mantra of humanity.
And yes! Living life by following this code of conduct means living as a human being, a God-fearing creature and a true human being
