Tezu, Mar 23: The Dao Division under #SpearCorps successfully hosted the grand finale of the 3rd Tezu Warrior Carnival (TWC), the Women’s Lohit Premier League (LPL), and an Ex-Servicemen Rally at Tezu, celebrating valor, sportsmanship, and national service.

The three-day extravaganza brought together veterans, serving personnel, and civilians to honor the spirit of courage and community engagement. The events combined competitive sports, cultural programs, and recognition of the contributions of ex-servicemen and Veer Naris (women associated with armed forces).
Lt Gen Abhijit S Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding SpearCorps, graced the finale, interacting with veterans and Veer Naris, commending their sacrifices and dedication. He highlighted the importance of initiatives that foster camaraderie, preserve military heritage, and strengthen ties between the armed forces and local communities.
The Tezu Warrior Carnival featured competitions testing physical endurance, teamwork, and strategic skills, reflecting the ethos of the armed forces. Meanwhile, the Women’s Lohit Premier League provided a platform for female athletes from across the region to showcase their sporting talents, promoting women empowerment through sports.
The Ex-Servicemen Rally was a highlight, with former soldiers sharing experiences and inspiring the younger generation with stories of courage, discipline, and patriotism. Veer Naris were felicitated for their outstanding contributions, recognizing the crucial support they provide in both military and civil spheres.
