Lt Gen Pendharkar reviews operational readiness in Manipur

Manipur, Jan 6: Lt Gen Abhijit S Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding (GOC) Spear Corps, visited the Kakching Warriors and Kangla Warriors units of the Assam Rifles in Manipur to assess their operational readiness and ongoing community outreach initiatives.

During the visit, the GOC conducted detailed inspections of the units’ operational setups, logistics, and training facilities. He also reviewed ongoing civic action and engagement programs aimed at fostering community trust and supporting local development in the region.
Addressing the personnel, Lt Gen Pendharkar commended the officers and troops for their exemplary performance in maintaining security along sensitive areas while actively engaging with local communities. He lauded their efforts in strengthening public trust, highlighting the critical role of morale, discipline, and operational preparedness in achieving mission objectives.
