
Dimnapur,. Feb 18: Lieutenant General Abhijit S Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding of the Spear Corps, reviewed operational preparedness during his visit to Zunheboto district of Nagaland. Accompanied by the Inspector General of Assam Rifles (North), the Corps Commander assessed the security situation, infrastructure readiness and coordination mechanisms in the strategically significant region.
During the visit, Lt Gen Pendharkar was briefed on ground deployment patterns, counter-insurgency measures, surveillance capabilities and logistical preparedness. He reviewed ongoing operational tasks and evaluated the troops’ ability to respond swiftly to emerging security challenges.
