Rangapahar, , Jan 29: Lt Gen Abhijit S Pendharkar, GOC Spear Corps, visited Kendriya Vidyalaya at Rangapahar Military Station on 29 January 2026 to review the post-renovation upgrades undertaken at the school.

The Corps Commander inspected the modernized laboratories, library, classrooms, playground, and power backup systems, noting the significant improvements in infrastructure and learning facilities. He appreciated the collaborative efforts between the school administration and Spear Corps personnel that made these enhancements possible.
Highlighting the importance of education, Lt Gen Pendharkar emphasized that a strong and modern learning environment is crucial for nurturing students’ intellectual and creative potential. He encouraged teachers and staff to continue their efforts in providing quality education while ensuring that the upgraded facilities are fully utilized to benefit the students.
The visit underscored the commitment of the Indian Army to supporting educational initiatives for the children of personnel and the wider community, fostering holistic development and academic excellence in remote regions like Nagaland.
