Lt Gen Pratik, SIDM Discuss Indigenous Defence Roadmap

Udhampur, Feb 12: Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command, met with the Director General of the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM) to discuss Northern Command’s procurement roadmap and promote indigenous defence manufacturing.

The discussion focused on next-generation equipment, advanced technologies, and collaboration with domestic manufacturers to enhance operational readiness. The meeting aligns with the upcoming North Tech Symposium and India’s vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat in defence production.
