Imphal, April 9: Lt Gen VMB Krishnan, Army Commander Eastern Command visited the forward areas of the Red Shield Division under SpearCorps to assess the operational preparedness and combat readiness of troops deployed in sensitive regions.

During the visit, the Army Commander conducted a detailed review of formations, inspecting key positions, troop deployments, and logistical arrangements. Emphasis was placed on ensuring rapid response capabilities, seamless coordination among units, and robust operational efficiency across all forward posts.
Lt Gen Krishnan interacted with officers and soldiers, commending them for their high motivation, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to national security.
