Martyrs PPL T-20 Cricket tournament concludes in Gbl

As part of the Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2025, Martyrs police premier league T-20 cricket tournament organised by Ganderbal police concludes at Sheikh-ul-Aalam Stadium Kangan. The tournament was organized in the loving memory of J&K Police Martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty, safeguarding peace and harmony in the region.
The grand finale witnessed a thrilling contest between Shining Star Managam Chattergul and Eleven Friends Kangan, with cricket enthusiasts filling the stands to cheer for their teams. After an electrifying clash, Eleven Friends Kangan emerged victorious, lifting the prestigious championship trophy amid loud applause and celebrations. The event providing a platform for the youth to showcase their sporting talent and passion for cricket and not only served as a sporting spectacle but also as a bridge to strengthen the bond between Police and the community, encouraging positive engagement among the youth.
Martyrs Police Premier League is a humble tribute to the supreme sacrifices of J&K Police personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty and emphasized the sports activities under the Civic Action Program are aimed at channelizing the energy of youth in the right direction, promoting harmony, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle. The winner and runner-up teams were felicitated with trophies, Sports Kit and Uniform, and Cash rewards amid thunderous applause.
The concluding ceremony was marked by vibrant enthusiasm, and the reaffirmation of J&K Police’s commitment to nurturing young talent while remembering the valour of the martyrs.
