Chaglagam, , Dec 11: The Indian Army has launched a major Search & Rescue operation in the higher reaches of Chaglagam, Arunachal Pradesh, following a civilian vehicle accident near KM 40. The vehicle, carrying 22 workers from Tinsukia, reportedly fell off a cliff, prompting an immediate multi-agency response.

Rescue efforts involve multiple Army columns, medical teams, and coordination with police, NDRF, SDRF, and GREF, alongside civil authorities. Despite the challenging terrain, teams are working tirelessly to locate and evacuate the passengers, ensuring timely medical assistance. The operation highlights the swift and coordinated response of security and disaster management agencies in emergencies.
