Mental health includes our social well being it is a state of mental well being which enables us to tackle with the stresses of life and enhance our abilities it includes our psychological and emotional traits. Mental health is important at every phase of life and to keep it healthy is as important as our physical health both should be equally maintained. People are not aware of their mental stability until the last stage of their sufferings. Certain times person can have poor mental health but it’s not necessary they will be diagnosed with mental illness. Mental and physical health are interdependent example if a person is suffering from depression it will automatically affect the physical health like heart problems and neurological problems .
Mental illness is the most common health conditions that now days people suffer from but are not able to talk or discuss about their sufferings . There are many reasons for disturbed mental peace many factors are responsible for mental illness such as early life experiences childhood trauma, violence chronic medical conditions are also one of the major factor for mental illness. Social and financial circumstances are one of the causes. Biological factors are also responsible sometimes there are certain conditions in which there is chemical imbalance in brain which causes abnormal brain activities family history is also the factor which includes family history of mental health problems.
Sometimes people with mental health disorders have more than one condition. There are some common types of mental illness disorders including anxiety disorder, mood disorder, schiozophrenia disorder, panic disorder, OCD, and many more .Anxiety disorder are the most common mental illness disorder people suffering from anxiety have severe fear towards certain things. There are certain symptoms of mental illness which should be looked after which includes certain physical symptoms which causes human body to respond abnormally that’s gives panic attacks, excessive sweating, changes in body temperature, mood swings, which makes person to harm themselves, eating or sleeping too much or too less, lack of confidence, lack of energy, loss of appetite, fatigue, unusual weight loss these are the symptoms of mental illness.
These things should to be looked after not necessary in our own selves but in the other people also including family members especially in children parents have to look after these things in children because children have more tendencies of depression. There are many ways to improve mental health most important thing is to seek professional help when it is needed, stay positive, stay physically active development of skills, maintain healthy life style proper sleep proper diet is very important .Most important thing is the self help a person need to cope with the mental health problems with their own will and support network is also very important including family.
