Baramulla, Jun 19: The Indian Army’s Dagger Division, under the leadership of Major General Manoj Joshi, in collaboration with the Lakshya Foundation, organised a youth engagement programme titled “Mera Desh Meri Pehchan” in Baramulla to promote unity, cultural awareness, and national integration.
The initiative brought together young participants to highlight India’s rich cultural diversity and shared national identity through interactive sessions and activities. Organisers said the programme aimed to inspire youth to appreciate the country’s traditions and strengthen a sense of belonging and pride.
Speakers emphasised the importance of engaging the younger generation in constructive activities that foster harmony and understanding across communities. The event also focused on encouraging youth participation in nation-building and positive social development.
Participants expressed appreciation for the initiative, noting that such programmes help broaden their perspective and deepen their understanding of India’s unity in diversity.
