Khansahib, Sep 9: Three residential houses were completely gutted in a fire that broke out during the midnight hours at Khan Mohalla in the Gurwait area of Khansahib in Budgam district, leaving six families homeless.
The blaze rapidly engulfed the houses, causing extensive damage to the residential structures, household belongings and other property kept inside.
As the fire spread through the locality, residents rushed to the spot and joined efforts to contain the flames and prevent them from reaching nearby properties.
The three houses were completely damaged in the incident, leaving six families without shelter and their household possessions destroyed or damaged.
The incident has caused significant disruption for the affected families, who are now facing the loss of their homes and belongings.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case.
