Missing woman traced in Reasi

Reasi, Mar 4 : District Police Reasi on Wednesday traced a missing woman and safely reunited her with her family after sustained search efforts.

Police said a missing report regarding Guddi Begum, wife of Mohammad Yousaf, was lodged at Police Post Dhansal. Soon after receiving the report, a police team was constituted and investigation was initiated to trace her whereabouts.
During the course of investigation, which involved field inquiries, technical analysis and coordination with other agencies, the woman was traced in Reasi. Acting promptly, a police team from Police Post Dhansal led by Sub Inspector Fida Hussain Lone, Incharge Police Post Dhansal, under the supervision of SHO Police Station Arnas and SDPO Arnas, reached the location and recovered her safely.
After completing necessary legal and medico-legal formalities, the woman was handed over to her legal heirs and the missing report was accordingly closed.
Police said it remains committed to ensuring the safety of citizens and urged the public to report such incidents promptly for timely action.
