In another reporting period, authorities reported more than 11,600 kg of suspected rotten and adulterated meat seized since July 31, 2025, across various districts of the Union Territory. And we along with our families consumed that meat for years. It's not just about meat, there may be a lot of packed unlabelled
I have spent two years in college studying English literature and have noticed something that has nothing or little to do with Literature. Honestly, I'm losing hope at an alarming rate.
Modern education produces followers, not thinkers, economic systems are creating modern “slavery", and
People are controlled through debt, food systems, and corporate power.
Food as a tool of control
This packed food is no good. It not only is dirty but it is a trap because it's usually seedless and ready made.
The rise of seedless [ Hybrid, Patented or Commercial seed system) food threatens long-term food security, because farmers cannot store, exchange, or replant seeds for future generations. And farmers will have to buy every seed. Can you imagine? Just four multinational corporations control over 56% of the global proprietary seed market. Bayer, Corteva, Syngenta, and BASF dominate what farmers can buy and grow! (Source: Development Aid – Corporate monopolies on seeds) Corporate seed systems rely heavily on intellectual property rights and patents, which legally restrict farmers from saving, replanting, or exchanging seeds — practices farmers followed for thousands of years (UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food). There exists Hybrid seeds that cannot be reused as a result farmers
cannot save them! And besides that we are also getting food, unsafe to eat. For example, Over 12,000 kg (12 tonnes) of rotten and unlabelled meat has been seized and destroyed across Jammu & Kashmir during a food safety crackdown. This includes meat unfit for consumption and stored without a proper cold chain.

Modern Education ; learning how to avoid thinking
Ask a student why he is studying, and he will probably say he wants a job at some big company, let's say ABC where he will earn a salary in lakhs, but will not have the freedom to think, to question, or to raise his voice. Unfortunately I'm having such a mind-set.
When a student [ Not just students but everyone] takes an education [ Or any other] loan just to keep up with modern expectations and the fear of missing out, he begins adulthood already in debt. To pay EMIs and bills, he is forced to become a job seeker, and once he finally secures a job, he cannot afford to quit even if it costs him his time, health, family and respect. In this way, people become modern slaves, prisoners, prisoners without chains and prisoners of invisible prisons. Employment isn't bad but losing your identity as well as independence by that is quite bad. If we look at the numbers
RBI data shows education loans outstanding at around ₹123,066 crore as of July 2024 and Only ~42.6% of Indian graduates who apply for jobs are considered employable according to the Graduate Skill Index 2025. So we clearly see the rise of educated unemployment and the rise of debt or educational loans!
When the youth are never taught to think, unemployment, poverty, drug addiction in a nutshell, destruction becomes inevitable. About *7% of Indians are estimated to use illicit narcotics. Drug treatment cases at a major Hyderabad clinic (IMH) nearly doubled again into 2025
• From 4,720 in 2023 to 9,832 in 2025, an increase of over 108%. (The Times of India) And guess what? This is a blessing for MNCs, because they get millions of desperate young people begging for jobs that often pay less than the price of a pair of shoes. But even then, how many can these companies hire? There will still be thousands of educated but jobless individuals left behind. Why? Because education [ The type of education that we get nowadays] is no longer the key to true success. It is producing slaves not thinkers. Just look at the government schools around us. Teachers are being kept busy with meaningless events and celebratory days, which makes it impossible to teach or to learn. Every day has become a function but that empties the young minds. Average number of applications per corporate job opening is about 250 resumes meaning if a multinational posts one job, 250 people on average apply for it [ According to the sources ] and In some cases reported by job sites, the number can be much higher for example, a founder reported receiving 3,000 resumes in 48 hours for a single role, and even 12,500 resumes over a month for repeated postings. [ The Indian Express]. So less than 3% of submitted resumes make it to the job interview.
Blindness
All of this is happening and we are still ignoring everything as if the systems have blinded us. After reading the data and observing the surroundings, I feel ashamed to know that we are instead of questioning and rising on our own legs rather we are busy celebrating the complete revolution of earth around the sun! There is nothing wrong with celebrating but I just don't understand. What's so exciting about the New Year? It's just another 365 days that will increase the numbers of educated unemployment and we will see the production of modern slaves rising every day and every year.
The Cycle of Rise and Collapse
Things are going to be even harder because civilization, economies and social structures are about to stop expanding and start declining. I'm talking about cyclic theory.
Cyclic theory states that societies move in recurring cycles. growth → stability → decay → collapse → renewal. and it takes 40 years to complete. So it's like a spiral that expands and then traps all of us in until everything collapses then it starts again! And I think the spiral has expanded enough now it's collapsing! Thanks to those who helped me realize and introspect.
