Moral education is teaching student about human values and virtues, including honesty, kindness, generosity, courage, freedom, equality, and respect to everyone. The goal is to raise student to become morally responsible, self-disciplined citizens, moral education aims the development of moral values through which children develop proper attitudes and behaviors toward other people in society.

As we have been witnessing a lot of incidents in the society that indicates the degradation of moral values in the society like drug addiction, misbehavior etc and recently an incident of killing of an innocent child by the duo also indicates the loss of moral values besides there are a lot of evils prevailing in the society that needs to be controlled and the way is to impart the positive teachings on the very first stage to the next generation.
Unless and until the moral values are not imparted in the minds of the people till then we cannot have a society of peace and order.
The main concern for every parent is teaching a child to distinguish between right from wrong and hence the development of the moral values.
Moral development helps you with improving your beliefs because it is possible to believe wrong things while growing up considering many times people don't bother telling you what is wrong or right. Since Many children don't get right and proper education about morality and they lead them in the wrong direction.
Moral values direct us to the right path to lead our lives by imparting the moral values from the early days helps one to distinguish between right and wrong. These values involve factors like loving others, helping others, being kind to others, respecting others, morality, honesty, etc. finally, it helps to build a high minded person and to follow the path of righteousness.
It is common thing that If a child misbehaves, the people are there to blame their parents and as well as their teachers. The parents helps in mental growth in the child and supports his ambitions and values. It is quite reasonable that the pleasant and cheerful atmosphere in the family develops love, friendliness, broad-mindedness, and kindness, generally, a child learns his behaviour from what he sees around him. In this regard, the family plays a significant role by helping in the socialization process of a child.
Besides the teachers are also the main moral developers ,they should give proper guidance from time to time as the teachers are the great inspirations for the students, the students should have strong base values. The moral education is very important and vital if it is imparted very effectively, it will help the students to make the right and effective choices and decisions in their lives.
The moral development creates happiness, love and Harmony among humans and it avoids the wrong consequences and sets a standard of living.
By imparting moral values it will help to distinguish between right and wrong ,it will help to eradicate and eliminate the violence, dishonesty and many social evils like drug abuse ,crimes, disregarding women etc that are because of lack of moral education and moral values. besides the moral development will also ensure the self confidence, motivation, differentiating what is right and what is wrong.
Moral education helps in honest performance and enhances the personality of the individual .It is high time when students in school ,colleges and universities should be taught moral education as the part of their educational curriculum. The students needs to be taught about the moral duty towards their society, state and friends and family. This education would be helpful in removing the corruption, social evils and crime from the society and will make human life much more peaceful, helpful, happy and worth living.
Moral education is the intended effort to develop good character based on core virtues that are good for the individual and good for society after all to the country.
It is very important for us as human beings to bear good and solid moral values like helping others, honesty , righteousness, decency, and even self-decency. Moral values are extremely important for the overall well being and provides the structure of life, People that have great moral values are very indispensable asset to others and even the society at large.
Moral values are the positive teaching that every parent want their children to learn and to imbibe ,The moral values make a person to become a responsible person and to differentiate between right and wrong besides the person having moral values becomes a successful human being.
By imparting moral education our children can become responsible, good and mannered and can distinguish between right and wrong And they can follow the right principles of life like, honesty, truthfulness, kindness and sympathy etc.
