Srinagar, Sep 28: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, who is also Minister for Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs, on Monday introduced the Bill to amend the Jammu and Kashmir Ministers’ and Ministers of State Salaries Act, 1956 in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly during the ongoing Autumn Session.
The Bill, designated as L.A. Bill No. 13 of 2026, has already been published in an extraordinary issue of the Official Gazette.
The CM also introduced the Bill to amend the Salaries and Allowances of Members of the Jammu and Kashmir State Legislature Act, 1960, and for matters connected or incidental thereto in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly during the ongoing Autumn Session.
The Bill, designated as L.A. Bill No. 14 of 2026, has already been published in an extraordinary issue of the Official Gazette.
Omar also introduced the Bill to amend the Jammu and Kashmir State Legislature Members’ Pension Act, 1984 and for matters connected or incidental thereto in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly during the ongoing Autumn Session.
The Bill, designated as L.A. Bill No. 15 of 2026, has already been published in an extraordinary issue of the Official Gazette.
