Madhya Pradesh Wushu association Secretary and Vishwamitra awardee coach Sarika Gupta said that Moscow Wushu Star International Championship is being organized in Russia from May 3 to May 8 2023 in which two players of Madhya Pradesh Vanshika Namdev and Pragya Yadav have been selected.
Vanshika Namdev has previously participated in the Junior World Championship 2022 Indonesia and has been a Gold Medalist of Sub-Junior and Junior National, she also won Gold Medal in All India University Games and is also a medalist of Khelo India and Federation Cup.
Pragya Yadav has been a Gold Medalist of Sub-Junior, Junior National and has also been a medalist of Khelo India and Federation Cup.
This is the first senior tournament for both players in which she has been selected for Moscow Wushu Stars.
Vanshika Namdev Chanquan, Daushu, Gunshu and Pragya Yadav have been selected in Taijiquan, Taijijian event will represent India in international event.
President of Madhya Pradesh Wushu Sangh (IPS) NK Tripathi , siddharth Shrivastava, rajnish saxena, Maya rajak , shailendra Sharma, vikas chaturvedi, jitendra rajak etc congratulated the players for being selected in the international competition.
