A young multi-talented girl from Bandipora despite odds has carved her niche in every segment of life, be it studies, sports and society.
She is an 18-year-old who has been branded as author, athlete and an ambassador; Nazrana Ahsan Wani explains her journey of thorns and roses through them.
Although 18, she pens down the secrets and tragedy of love, life, hope and patience.
Besides pursuing her academic dreams in science stream, she has an indefinite love for writing which she has been writing since school days.
It was in 9th standard that she started writing and has so far co-authored more than 30 Anthologies, which includes "World book of record " anthologies, and authored one solo book "Shadowless Evening".
She has won many accreditations in writing and is an exemplary youth awardee under category "Best Author", Limelight Awardee, Talented 30 Awardee under category "Best youth icon of 2021". Also aspirant William Shakespeare Literature Awardee under
title "Indian National idol",
She is the first girl from Kashmir who received Indian National Idol Award and Pen player of year 2021 of Jammu and Kashmir.
She has been nominated for various awards viz; Sahitya Spectrum Award, Hindustan writer Award, Indian School Awards, Ambitious Award, Glantor X Women leader Award, Indian book of records, Fox clues India prime awards under title "Top 100 authors and researchers of India'', Author of the year 2021 at Story Mirror, Indian nobel award, The Femina awards 2022.
Additionally she has been featured on many newspapers, Magazines and blogs.
She's selected writer at Split Poetry India, 'Literary lieutenant' in the' Army of literary warriors' at Story Mirror.
Not only writing, she has won accolades in athletics as she's Red Belt and twice National Medalist in Sqay Martial Arts.
Recently she grabbed another gold medal in the UT level championship of Sqay martial arts.
She is additionally working as Official Campus Ambassador intern at International Model United Nations.
“ What I am today is just because of the support of my family, My coach Jamsheeda Yousuf,” affirms she.
“My English pedagogy Shiekhzada Mudasir, my maternal uncle Muneer Ahmad Mir. And for me that we are Iqra Ahsan Wani, Kounain Rafiq, Aleem Wani, Tuba Tahsin,Nidhi Sharma, Shiekh Sehrish, Aaliya Wani , My brothers by heart Arsalan Sofi and Zaid Nabi as they were the persons who always pulled me up when I was down,” she says.
Her 80 page book has been published by 'Notion Press', a London based Independent publishing platform. "Shadowless Evening" is a collection of poems which informs about human nature and creative mind, ability of mind and power of soul.
