
Under Lt Gen Gurbirpal Singh PVSM,AVSM,VSM DG NCC Training Directive 2024-25 focus on contemporary technology orientation and absorption training, Col MK Sharma, Camp Commandant J4 ATC, accompanied by NCC officers and 50 cadets, visited the Central University Campus, Jammu.
The cadet entourage was expertly conducted by Dr. Amita Gupta, Assistant Professor and NCC Associate NCC Officer (ANO).
During the visit, the cadets met, Satish Dhawan Space Centre, ISRO.
Cadets received insightful presentations on the functioning and significance of advanced telescopes and spectroscopy.
The cadets were introduced to various high-tech scientific instruments used in space research and exploration.
The cadets engaged with Rajan, PRO, Central University, who explained the operations and impact of TAWI DHARA, the mini FM radio station.
JUO Simran Thakur shared a motivating story about the first Para jumping qualified cadet from the Bhaderwah-Kishtwar region.
Sgt Shivangi narrated an inspiring ballad and discussed essential aspects of being a Radio Jockey, enriching the cadets' understanding of this career.
The cadets also had a motivational interaction with Dr. (Prof) Sanjeev Jain
