
Chairman of the National Commission for Minorities, Shri Iqbal Singh Lalpura, met with members of the minority community in Rajpura, Patiala, Punjab. He was warmly welcomed by the locals, especially from the minority community, who expressed their appreciation for the outreach.
During the meeting, Chairman Lalpura listened to the concerns of the community and discussed various schemes and initiatives of the Central Government aimed at the welfare and empowerment of minorities. He assured them that their issues would be taken up with the concerned authorities for resolution.
Unveiling ceremony of the statue of Shaheed Satyaprakash Prabhakar Ji
In addition to meeting with the people in Rajpura, Chairman Lalpura attended the unveiling ceremony of the statue of Shaheed Satyaprakash Prabhakar Ji and participated in the Shaheedi Samagam to pay tribute to the great martyr.
The unveiling ceremony of the statue was organized by Mahavir Kranti Seva Sangh Punjab to commemorate Shri Satyaprakash Prabhakar, who was martyred by terrorists on March 16, 1990.
Speaking at the event, he emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices of those who laid down their lives for the nation. "The sacrifices of our martyrs will always inspire us and guide us toward a better future," he remarked.
The event saw the presence of various dignitaries, community leaders, and members of the public who came together to honor the legacy of Shaheed Satyaprakash Prabhakar Ji.
