Srinagar, Feb 5 : The Jammu and Kashmir government has extended the tenure of Dr. Parikshat Singh Manhas as Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) and Director of the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) for another month, despite the chief minister’s directive against service extensions.
As per an order issued by Financial Commissioner, School Education Department (SED), Shantmanu, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS, "In continuation to Government Order No. 55-JK (Edu) of 2023, dated February 23, 2023, sanction is hereby accorded to the grant of extension in the term of Dr. Parikshat Singh Manhas as Chairman JKBOSE and Director SCERT, for a further period of one month from the date of expiry of his previous term, January 24, 2025."
