Srinagar, July 18 : To commemorate the Kargil Vijay Diwas Rajat Jayanti, Lieutenant Colonel Barsha Rai (Retd) and Chinar Warriors embarked upon a 160 km Ultra Marathon from Srinagar to the Kargil War Memorial. With this remarkable event the team aims to pay tribute to the bravery and valour of the soldiers who fought the Kargil War. The event shall raise awareness about the sacrifice made by the Armed Forces and inspire the citizens to honour their immense contribution for the National Security.
The event was flagged off by the Chinar Corps Commander from Srinagar. The Kargil War, stands as a testament of the resilience and valour of the Indian Army. Each step the team takes not only honours the Bravehearts of the Kargil War but also seeks to instill a sense of reflection and gratitude.
