Qazigund recorded a low of -4.4 degrees Celsius while Kokernag in south Kashmir recorded a low of 3.2 degrees Celsius as against the -3.7 degrees Celsius yesterday.
The tourist hot spot of Pahalgam remained the coldest place in Kashmir with the night temperature settling at -7.9 degrees Celsius.
In Kupwara, the night temperature settled at -4.3 degrees Celsius.
Gulmarg recorded a low of -6.5 degrees Celsius.
Leh town in Ladakh region had minus 14.1 and Kargil minus 19.7 as the minimum temperature.
The MeT official said the weather will remain dry until February 17 and there is a possibility of light to moderate snow or rain at many places in Jammu and Kashmir during February 18–20.
