NDS Stadium in Leh hosted the Grand Finale of the ROYAL ENFIELD Ice Hockey League.Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, Hon'ble MP Ladakh, was invited as the Chief Guest by the Eicher Group Foundation.
The event was attended by Executive Councillors Ghulam Mehdi and Tashi Namgyal Yakzee, Secretary Ravindra Kumar IAS, In-charge IPS, President Ice Hockey Association Ladakh, and respective Councillors of LAHDCs and Officials.
During his speech, JTN expressed deep gratitude to both teams for their excellent match competition in the Final and heartiest congratulations to 'Kasngsing Leh' for winning the Royal Enfield finale.
He also congratulated Ladakh Ice Player and agents for the efforts made by the UT Government of Ladakh and respective stakeholders in emphasizing Ice Hockey and achieving the Blueprints of Ice Hockey recently.
The winners of the event, Stanzin Angchuk of 'Kangsing Leh' and Padma Chorol of 'Maryul Spamo,' received INR 2.5 lakh as the winner's prize.
The runner-up award was received by Mr. Chamba Tsetan of 'Changthang Shan' and Ms. Tsering Chuskit of 'Changla Lamo,' who received INR 1.5 lakhs.
Several other constellation awards were also distributed to players and teams for categories such as Valuable Player, Fair Play, and Best Team, among others.
