The Inter-school zonal level speedball competition for boys & Girls was today organised as per annual activity calendar issued by Directorate Youth Services and Sports J&K.
The event was held here at High School Al- Hilal Educational Institute.
The competition was declared open by the chief guest District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Kharati Lal Sharma in presence of incharge ZPEO Kishtwar Ravi Kumar, Sanjay Sen, Arshad Ganai, and members of the organising committee Amit Sen, Romika Sen, Amit Sharma and Masoom Rashid.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest thanked the management of High School Al Hilal educational institute for providing place and other facilities by which a wonderful event has been organized to encourage maximum student participation and promote healthy competition.
Before starting the games, the rules & regulations of the solo, single, double and relay games were briefly figurize by Javed Kripak convenor of the event.
All the matches were played with full enthusiasm.
In U/17 boys and girls category, Tanees Ahmed Kripak , Sahib Jan Zarger and Toufeeq Ahmed Magray of GHSS boys Kishtwar and Qurat-ul-aain from IFHS were selected for next competition, while in U 14 boys and girls category, Touheed Ahmed, Basharat Ahmed, Zakir Hussain, Azhar Ali, of Al-Hilal edu. Institute, Aadam Amin of National Academy, Nashra Batool of High School Al-Hilal educational institute were selected for the next competition.
