The general public is hereby informed that adequate stocks of essential commodities, particularly petrol, diesel and LPG are available in the district and the supply position remains normal/stable. There is no cause for concern in this regard.

All citizens are advised to refrain from panic buying and avoid unnecessary rush at petrol pumps, and to procure fuel as per their normal requirements at designated outlets. The public is further urged not to believe in or spread rumours or unverified information.

The administration is closely monitoring the situation. Any instance of hoarding, black marketing, overcharging or unauthorised sale of fuel in loose containers such as bottles, jars or cans having potential to cause panic is strictly prohibited and shall be dealt with firmly under the provisions of law.

The public is urged to extend full cooperation to the administration in maintaining order and ensuring smooth availability of essential commodities.
