In a remarkable achievement, a police official Farhat Gulzar (Special Police Officer) posted in Kupwara has brought great honor to the Jammu and Kashmir Police by earning a silver medal in judo at All-India Police Games. The event, which was held in Guwahati and hosted by Assam Police, took place from June 24 to June 30, 2024.
Farhat Gulzar's outstanding performance at the All-India Police Games is a testament to his dedication and hard work. As a result of his success at the national level, he has been selected to participate in the World Police and Fire Games, scheduled to be held in California, USA, in February 2025. In recognition of his outstanding achievement, Farhat Gulzar was felicitated by Shobhit Saksena-IPS, SSP Kupwara at a ceremony at District Police Office, Kupwara.
