An inter Child Care Institution Competition was organized today to commemorate Veer Bal Diwas celebrations, 2024 at Palash Shalimar.

The event was organized by District Social Welfare Officer/ District Child Protection Officer Srinagar. Children of CCIs (boys and girls) of Srinagar District along with other districts including Budgam, Pulwama, Shopian, Anantnag and Ganderbal participated in various activities.

The activities included competitions of drawing, essay writing, singing & quiz competition. Cultural performances and aerobatic acts were also presented on the occasion which added vibrancy to the event and enthralled the audience.

The event aimed to foster creativity and talent among children and boost their self-esteem and confidence.

District Social Welfare Officer/ District Child Protection Officer, Srinagar, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad; Dr. Khair-un-Nisa, Chairperson and other esteemed members of Child Welfare Committee Srinagar were present at the event.

Speaking at the event, the DSWO/ DCPO Srinagar highlighted the importance of such initiatives in empowering children and providing them with opportunities to grow and express themselves.

The guests felicitated the children and encouraged the participants with their inspiring words.
