Jammu, Sep 1: Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, PVSM, AVSM, SM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command and Colonel of The Madras Regiment, visited Madras Regiment units deployed at Miran Sahib, BD Bari and Samba. During the visit, the Army Commander interacted with the officers, Junior Commissioned Officers and soldiers of the regiment, affectionately known as Thambis, besides meeting veterans associated with the illustrious regiment.

The visit reflected the Army Commander’s close engagement with the troops and his continued emphasis on maintaining the highest standards of operational preparedness, professional excellence, discipline and dedication to duty.
